Laurent Levy, Principal
Laurent has more than 24 years of experience in the Bilingual and Montessori education system in France.
With a diploma in the sciences of education and from the Maria Montessori Superior Institute, Laurent has also taught for 11 years at UPEC as a lecturer and thesis director in the Sports Professions degree program, then in the Education Sciences degree program.
In 1998, he joined The Bilingual Montessori School of Paris, and taught 5 years in the 2-3-year-old class, then 17 years in the 3- 6-year-old class as a Montessori AMI French-speaking teacher.
In 2003, he opened a new 3-6-year-old class on The Bilingual Montessori School of Paris campus at 23 avenue George V Paris 8e, then in 2005 he joined the Jardin d’Enfants Montessori d’Auteuil team, 16th arrondissement school of The Bilingual Montessori School of Paris group, as a Montessori AMI 3-6-year-old French speaking teacher and Principal.
For more than 15 years, he has also been accompanying the E.J.E (Educators of young children) and the Montessori (ISMM) student teachers during their project as a pedagogical mentor.
Motivated by this passion for teaching and the desire to share with other families, Laurent directs the Montessori Bilingual School of Levallois Perret and is the Pedagogical Director of the Bilingual Montessori School of Paris (Paris 7th, 8th and 16th).

Whether in the kindergarten community (2-3-year-olds) or in the children’s house (3-6-year-olds), our pedagogical team actively participates in the learning and development of the children in a caring and international atmosphere. Our perfectly bilingual team applies a pedagogy that places the child at the center of his or her learning.
In our 2-3-year-old class, Elisabeth (French educator), Marika (English educator) and Lorie, all Montessori AMI, Montessori and Early Childhood graduates, are passionate about education and the proper development of the child. They teach them, in an adapted environment in French and English, to freely choose the activities that will promote their development and autonomy. Learning to learn, and learning together.
In the 3-6 class, Lou (French speaking educator) and Stéphanie (English speaking educator), Montessori AMI certified, supervise the children in an individual and personalized manner that permits the children to evolve and grow at their own rhythm. The child, immersed in a multilingual environment, discovers, absorbs, and naturally becomes familiar with a new language. The English educator will only address the children in English throughout the day. They also guarantee and master the National Education program for cycle 1 of kindergarten.
